  • Wrinkles on the neck

The MTS Roller tool has a barrel and handle made from Lexan and polycarbonate resin with 200 bristles of surgical stainless steel needles. Small enough to comfortably fit in your hand.

Micro-needling/dermal rolling is a fantastic alternative for those who don't want to undergo more aggressive and expensive procedures (i.e. Fraxel Laser, C02) or injections (i.e. juvederm). Clinical studies have shown to be just as effective as non-ablative treatments like IPL, C02 and Fraxel.

Dermal rolling pierces the dermis, which generates collagen and elastin with out risking the formation of scar tissue. It also releases growth factors, which non-ablative laser's do not do.

The MTS Roller works in conjunction with Medical Grade products called Environ. Consultation is imperative before purchasing the roller and product.

Dermal Rolling also is effective on Scars. Needling can create collagen to fill depressions or smooth out scars that are raised.

MTS Dermal Roller is one of the best rollers on the market. It is one of the few medical-grade quality rollers available and will last 6 - 12 months on average.

How to do Dermal Needling

Rolling can range from 5 - 10 minutes depending on the size of the area. Most people prefer at night. Rolling just your face should take a few minutes. For utmost results rolling should be used in conduction with Environ, Alannah's recommended medical grade skin care products.

Divide the area of your face into sections e.g. forehead, nose, cheeks, mouth area and neck. Apply MTS Dermal Roller with the same amount of pressure on the skin throughout - not need to press hard - just firm - like your painting. Mildly roll the same areas 4 - times (half inch rolls) then work up to 10 times (later when your skin has adjusted) vertically, diagonally and horizontally.

Rolling your face should only take a few minutes - not 20 minutes. Once rolling is completed apply your cosmetic skincare products. Allow a few minutes for the product to be absorbed.

The treatment should be repeated 2 - 7 times per week. Once daily is the goal (roll daily with the CR2 or CR3 once a week with the CR5). Should the skin feel sensitive after rolling, it is advisable to not use the roller again until your skin feels comfortable. Stop future use and contact: Avalon Cosmetic Tattooing. If you experience prolonged irritation in the area.

MR5 (.05mm) should not be used on the face more than one day a week. It is too aggressive, it will irritate the skin. Therefore, roll with the MR2 (.02mm) or MR3 (.03mm) everyday followed by skin care product recommended by Alannah at Avalon Cosmetic Tattooing. Then once a week with the CR 5 in conjunction with the selected Environ skin care products. The CR 5 is best used more frequently on scars, stretch marks and hair stimulation.
